Grateful Dead at NYTimes.com

There is an interesting article over at NYTimes.com about the legacy of the Grateful Dead and their different eras and periods.  Specifically the underground fandom of amateur tape archivists is discussed at length. One can tell the reporter is a Head which makes the article that much more enjoyable.

Playoffs…

Today my beloved Phillies take the mound in the NLDS at Citizen’s Bank Park. Here is hoping that they can make it to the Series this year, or at least win one playoff game. I’ve been following them pretty closely this year, made it to 10 games, and still the bane of my childhood-1993 Joe Carter, you remember-haunts me. I learned from www.philliesnation.com that Mitch Williams of all people will be tossing the first pitch today. So much for shucking off the past.

But the team genuinely looks excellent this year, just that the starting rotation is unbalanced a little. Anyways I could be Dancing in the Streets come the end of October.
